This is a clip from “Servant of the People,” the TV show starring Volodymyr Zelensky in which he portrayed a teacher who was elected President of Ukraine after a video of him as a corruption fighter in the show went viral.
His performance in that TV show catapulted him into the Presidency. Now, so poignantly, he’s won the admiration of people all over the world for his bravery and stature.
Netflix announced on March 16 that “Servant of the People” is again available in the US.
I sure hope the folks at Netflix paid generously for the rights to this revival–and as I type that word, I know you’re all with me in hoping that Ukraine’s status will soon move from survival to revival.

My thoughts are with the people of Ukraine. Let peace prevail there!

Thank you for this heartfelt comment, KK! At times it has seemed that Putin’s lies about the war have been receiving far more oxygen than they should, both here in the US and in other countries.

You’re right, Annie, but lies have no legs. It won’t prevail.

Love the clip. Can you imagine Putin doing something like that? The only kicks he gets is killing innocent people for the HELL of it.

It’s like there’s a continuum of humanity, and Zelensky’s on one end, reluctantly forced into war to save his country, while Putin’s on the other, shrouded in malevolence and evil.
Thanks for your comment, mm.

The man with the hardest job in the world just now…The contrast in courage between him and Putin is stark.
